Gurf Morlix receives Americana Music Association nomination!

"Diamonds to Dust", the latest Blue Corn release from Gurf Morlix, reached #2 on the Americana charts and continues to garner stellar reviews. Critic's have repeatedly called it his finest work to date. Gurf has once again been nominated as the Americana Music Association's "Instrumentalist of the Year". The award ceremony is November 1.

"The Phenomenal Ruthie Foster" continues to prove to be an apt title for Ruthie Foster's latest record. After blowing them away at England's famed Cambridge Folk Festival in July, Ruthie continues her touring in the USA. She has a full schedule of gigs through the first of the year, including a return to England."Heal Yourself", the single off "Phenomenal ", was featured on i-Tunes in July . The entire album reached number 4 on the Blues chart in Billboard magazine.
